Guest Speaker: Lauren Stockbower
Title of the Talk: The Language of Photography
Speaker’s Bio:
Lauren Stockbower has worked as a picture editor over the course of 20 years for The New York Times, Forbes, Business Week, and U.S. News and World Report. She also has been both a staff newspaper photographer, and a freelancer throughout Asia.
An educator, she has taught at the Corcoran College of Art +Design for a decade, and is currently an adjunct professor at NOVA in Alexandria.
She freelances for clients like National Geographic Traveler as a picture editor and is Portfolio Director for UFolios.com.
