EIC theme: Street Photography
Images that feature subjects in candid situations within public places. Street photographs are mirror images of society, displaying “unmanipulated” scenes, with usually unaware subjects.”
Judge: Maurice Asseo
Presentation: A Poem Without Words
A Poem Without Words, or otherwise Things (more or less) Remembered, is a selection of images derived by various means, such as Photoshop or slide sandwiches, from photographs taken over more than thirty years in more than twenty countries.
If there is a story behind this silent presentation (no words, no music), it could be the confusion that gradually develops in the mind and memory of an elderly person.
